How do I get to your house ?
The nearest airport is in Lyon. There are several train options: the TGV to Mâcon Loche (2h from Paris) or a regional train to Belleville-sur-Saône (35 minutes from Lyon center). We can come to pick you up on both these stations. You can also drive, the roads are beautiful (but winding) and it's easy to park in our house.
Do I need to rent a car ?
Because our house is located in a tiny village in the countryside, we recommend you rent a car if you’d like to travel around or go to restaurants for dinners. You can easily do so in Lyon. If you don’t feel like driving in a big city, you can rent a car in Lyon St-Exupery Airport, you won’t pass by the city and you can take the Highway. If you'd rather not, there are plenty of walking path nearby and the local bakery/grocery store is about 15 minutes walk so it is your choice.
Can you adapt the meals to my food allergie or to my diet ?
Yes, we’re happy to adapt our style of cooking to your diet, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free,...etc
Can I come with my pet ?
Yes. We have a cat, Titi. We love animals so you are welcome to come with a well-behaved, well groomed cat or dog.
What is the booking process ?
Once we’ll agree on the details of your stay, we’ll need a 40 % down payment to secure your reservation.The balance due (60 %) must be paid one month in advance if you're paying by bank transfer or the day of your arrival if you're paying cash. We recommend you use Wise.com for international transfers as it’s safe and with low fees. If your prefer to use a direct bank transfer, please note that depending on the country of origin of the tranfer we might have extra fees from our bank (about 25 euros for australian banks) that we'll ask back as it has to remain cost free for us.
What is the cancellation policy ?
All payments are forfaited.
Covid policy : in case of impossibility to travel by government decisions, you can reschedule your stay without fees or convert your stay into skype lessons.
Is there a washing machine in the flat ?
No, but you’re welcome tu use ours during your stay
